Our Research Focus
Our primary research focus is extinction and phylogeography of Caribbean bats.
We combine three types of data (climate, fossils, and genetics) to test hypotheses about population level changes across recent time scales. We are also broadly interested in evolutionary biology and study biogeography, the effects of climate change on mammals, population connectivity, and systematics and phylogenetics of mammals at regional and local scales.

We are also interested in phylogenomic and biogeographic questions on mammals at a global scale.
